Housing Minister Pennelope Beckles presented keys to new home to the Burke Family who lost their home and loved ones in recent fire

Earlier today, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development Minister, the Honourable Pennelope Beckles, presented keys to a three-bedroom HDC apartment located at Vieux Fort, St. James to Jenille Rodriguez, mother of the children who perished in the fire. Troy Burke and Jenille Rodriguez suffered an unimaginable tragedy on July 28, 2021 when they lost three (3) of their children in a fire that gutted their home.

Also, in attendance at this key distribution ceremony was the Minister of Social Development and Family Services, the Honourable Donna Cox, and the Member of Parliament for Port of Spain South, the Honourable Keith Scotland.
